As mentioned on the Events page, the Walsall Astronomical Society meet every Thursday evening at the Rushall Olympic Football Club in Walsall.
If you are interested in joining, then you can just turn up and meet us. The first visit is free and gives you the chance to see what we're like. If you then decide to join there is a £5 annual fee, which covers the membership for the Astronomy Club. There is an additional fee of £1 or £2 per visit depending on who the guest speaker is.
All are welcome!

Tuesday 15th October 2024 at 7pm:
COMET HUNT
Meet on Barr Beacon at 7:00pm to observe Venus and with luck the new Comet if it survives the Encounter with the Sun this weekend.
Park on the grass alongside Beacon Hill ((B4151) and walk up through the gate. Bring Binoculars and dress warm. A torch might be useful after 8pm as it gets dark.
Regards
