COMET HUNT
Meet on Barr Beacon at 7:00pm to observe Venus and with luck the new Comet if it survives the Encounter with the Sun this weekend.
Park on the grass alongside Beacon Hill ((B4151) and walk up through the gate. Bring Binoculars and dress warm. A torch might be useful after 8pm as it gets dark.
